(Above)Dream
It! "Knowing
the motivation behind your goals helps you achieve
them," says
Lois Barth, a well-being coach in New York City. "If
the Challenge is only about exercising and eating
right, momentum wanes quickly. But if it's about
something bigger, such as living your dreams,
then giving up doughnuts or cranking out cardio
isn't such a big deal. Barth's tip: Create a
collage of images that inspire you and hang it
where you'll see it often. Because anything you
can dream, you can do.
(Below) Put
your goal in ink: Personal mantras
are a suprisingly effective tool to keep you going
strong. "Our own thoughts can be our greatest saboteurs,"
Barth says. "Positive statements help reframe our
beliefs. "Support your goals by recording your
mantra in the space below and attaching it
to your inspiration board. A tiny tip: Write
in the present tense. I
am fierce is more powerful
than I will be fierce.
